Monthly Yin Yoga workshop – suitable for all. Sundays October 19, November 16, December 14. 2pm to 3pm
Yin Yoga is a slow, deep stretch practice and complements all forms of yoga and exercise, as well as being ideal for beginners. Almost everyone can benefit from a controlled stretch under expert instruction. Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the tendons, fasciae and ligaments, increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Poses are held for two to five minutes, using supports where necessary. The slow pace of Yin Yoga provides the opportunity to find inner stillness whilst releasing deep tension in the body and stress from the mind. Equipment is supplied. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Filtered water is supplied but please bring your own water bottle.
