We have excellent swimming facilities at both John Warner Sports Centre and Laura Trott Leisure Centre, including:
- swim school swimming lessons for all ages and abilities
- an online swim shop
Members have unlimited use of the swimming pools during public swim sessions as part of their membership.
Casual Swimming Prices
Please note all our centres are now cashless and swimming can only be paid for at Reception by card. Lockers at Laura Trott Leisure Centre use a padlock system, customers can bring their own or purchase a padlock from reception. John Warner Sports Centre lockers use a 20p piece which is returnable.

Pools Admission Policy
0-7 years of age
- One responsible adult age 16 years or over (or the biological parent if younger) to two children, restricted to Learner Pool only.
- Children must be accompanied both in the changing village and the water by a responsible adult.
- The responsible adult must be in the water, maintain constant watch and be in close contact with the child/children.
8 years and over, non-swimmers or weak swimmers
- Must be accompanied in the water by a responsible adult aged 16 years or over.
- The responsible adult must be in the water, maintain constant watch and be in close contact with the child/children.
8 years and over, competent swimmer
- No supervision needed.
Hoddesdon Swimming Club
Hoddesdon Swimming Club are offering any swimmers enrolled in our Swim School the option to have a weekly one-hour free swimming trial for a three-week period.
Your child will be assessed for the most suitable squad and will then join that squad for the remainder of the trial. If you want to continue after the trial, your child can become a member of the club and will continue to receive free swimming club training while they are enrolled in our Swim School.
To ensure the success of this partnership your child should remain in our Swim School until they have passed their NPTS Level 8 Award.
