Accessible swimming sessions

Our accessible swimming session at Laura Trott Leisure Centre is especially for swimmers with additional needs or disabilities (learning, physical or sensory) and their carers. Carers must be a responsible adult and must be in the water with the swimmer. Although the session is supported by a qualified swimming instructor it is a general leisure swim and not a coached lesson, therefore carers are responsible for the supervision of the person they are with at all times.

There are two Accessible Swimming sessions every Sunday from 3:45-4:30 pm and 4:45–5:30pm

These are free sessions and cannot be booked online. To reserve places for carers and swimmers, please telephone Reception or visit the centre on Thursday prior to the session.
