Studio Escape
Studio Escape is a purpose-built yoga, Pilates and well-being studio. It is an exclusive calm space away from the day-to-day hubbub of the leisure centre. This new holistic therapy centre is a safe and comfortable place for both beginners and more advanced practitioners to focus on their self-improvement. All equipment is supplied. There is a water cooler in the room, please bring your own bottle. There is also an area to remove and place coats, bags and shoes.
Tuesday Evening Hatha Yoga
Suitable for all. Next course starts Tuesday 05 November for six weeks
Starts at 7pm 60 minute class.
Hatha yoga is practiced at a slow pace, with focus on breathing, controlled movements and stretching.
This course is suitable for all abilities, beginners are welcome. It is also recommended for those who may have any injuries/mobility restrictions as you work at a slow place with plenty of options for modifications.
You will learn various limbering movements to warm up the body, traditional poses to stretch and strengthen the body, develop body awareness and learn basic breathing practices and meditation/relaxation techniques that will benefit your body and mind to help to reduce feelings of stress in daily life.
Each week will be based on a different theme as you explore the various ways in which the body moves.
