Be.Fit Together Terms and Conditions
Payments and Membership
All Be.Fit Together sessions are open to pay as you go customers and are also included in a Be.Broxbourne Leisure membership (excluding John Warner only memberships).
Cancellation
Occasionally it may be necessary to cancel sessions at short notice. In the event of cancellation, participants are welcome to attend the gym independently, but unable to attend the usual instructor lead activities in other locations if the session is cancelled due to the instructor being unable to attend that day.
Session Variations
Please be aware that session structure and location may vary when deemed necessary, this information will be provided to participants via reception or the instructor.
Yourself
These are instructor lead group sessions however, if you have higher assisted needs and unable to exercises without assistance you must bring a carer or additional support. Your health is your responsibility, we can advise on exercise and wellbeing but we do not provide medical advice, please consult your doctor or health professional prior to taking part in these sessions as well as agreeing to the below Health Commitment Statement.

Rules
The full Centre rules are displayed in the reception area and on the website, you must comply with these rules which form part of this agreement. Please note these rules are liable to change as needed at any time. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in the termination of your session.
We ask you to familiarise yourself with the contents of our signs, notices on display and the location of the emergency exits. If you suffer an accident or injury on our premises, you must report it and the circumstances under which it happened to the senior manager on duty immediately. If you have a complaint, we want to know about it as soon as possible so that we may fully investigate it and sort the matter out.
Attendance
If you are a member of the centre you must check in with reception every time you attend the sessions if you are a pay as you go customer you must pay for each session you attend prior to the session start time. Please note our centres are cashless, so please remember to bring a card or contactless method of payment. All our customers have contact information saved on our system, please keep your personal details up to date at all times should we need to contact you. You agree to advise us promptly of any change to your personal details provided. All information we hold about you will be dealt with in line with our privacy policy.
Parking
When attending a Studio Escape session participants are entitled to free parking, to take advantage of this we require all attendees to register their vehicle registration at reception or via the self-service parking tablet. This must be done prior to each individual session. We cannot not guarantee the availability of a parking space. Please note parking at Laura Trott Leisure Centre is subject to the Centre rules and monitored by the Borough of Broxbourne.
HEALTH COMMITMENT STATEMENT
We are dedicated to helping you take every opportunity to enjoy the equipment and facilities that we offer. With this in mind, we have carefully considered what we can reasonably expect of each other.
Our commitment to you
- We will respect your personal choice, and allow you to make your own decisions about what exercise you can carry out. However, we ask you not to exercise beyond what you consider to be your own abilities.
- We will take reasonable steps to make sure that our equipment and facilities are clean and safe for you to use and enjoy for the normal purpose they were intended for. Bear in mind that we are not able to clean or inspect equipment and facilities after each use.
- We will take reasonable steps to make sure that our staff are qualified to Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity standards.
- If you tell us you have a disability that puts you at a substantial disadvantage in terms of accessing our equipment and facilities, we will consider which adjustments, if any, are reasonable for us to make.
Your commitment to us
- Do not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition that might interfere with you exercising safely, you should get advice from a relevant medical professional before you use our equipment and facilities, and follow it.
- Make yourself aware of any rules and instructions, including warning notices, and follow them. Exercise carries its own risks. When you are exercising, you are responsible for the risks involved. You should not carry out any activities that you have been told are not suitable for you.
- Let us know immediately if our equipment or facilities are unsafe to use or if you feel ill when using our equipment or facilities. Our staff members are not qualified doctors, but there will be someone available who has been trained in first aid.
- If you have a disability, follow the instructions provided to allow you to exercise safely.
