Interests
I am dedicated to keeping fit, staying active and leading a healthy lifestyle. I train 5-6 times a week. I incorporate free weights, resistance training along with running, HIIT and the occasional swim. I enjoy teaching classes (Fit Box/Pad Work, Cardio 45 and Les Mills Grit).
Besides the gym, I like learning new to cook new recipes and making my own meals from scratch. I socialize with friends and I love sports mainly football, but I enjoy watching the NFL, boxing and the Olympics. I would say I am more interested in the conditioning and the type of training athletes undertake in preparation for the event. My hobbies are taking part in fitness events such as Hyrox, turf games and outdoor hikes. I also enjoy travelling abroad and taking my dogs for walks.
Why train with me?
I like to use my own experience and knowledge I’ve gained over the years to help clients progress to the next level and maximize their training. I believe movement is the key to life which is one of the reasons why I became a personal trainer. By carrying out an initial consultation, I can prioritise and assess the clients wants and needs, setting achievable and realistic goals, such as: increasing strength, muscle building, training for a specific sport, improving overall fitness and weight loss, as well as building confidence in a fitness environment. I ensure exercises are performed with correct positioning and technique, allowing you to move better and reduce the risk of injury. If there are current injuries, we can work round these with adjustments and alternatives. My sessions include warmups/pre activation and pulse raiser techniques. I focus on compound exercises and accessory movements to the KPI’s, athletic/skill movements, core and stability exercises, loaded carries and stretching. My goal is to implement positive changes in my client’s lifestyle by helping them build and feel confident in their own bodies, alongside training for a better quality of life.
