Interests

Sport has always been my main interest since school. Unfortunately, after suffering a chronic leg injury when I was a teenager I was unable to walk for three years. I became overweight through inactivity and being unable to take part in the sports I loved. During this time I discovered the gym and weight training which enabled me to lose weight and regain my confidence, leading me to discover a love for a health and fitness lifestyle I have been enjoying ever since. I really missed the competitive side of sport but being in the gym allowed me to regain that sense of competition by constantly challenging myself. I could no longer play the sports I loved but I could push myself on a regular basis, from setting a new personal best in strength building or simply running a greater distance, the gym has allowed me to be able to regain that sense of achievement I had previously lost.

Why train with me?

I mainly specialise in strength and hypertrophy training and have had particular success in using strength-based training to help clients hit a number of different goals. Working with men and women of all ages and abilities I have been privileged to help and oversee a number of complete body transformations. I have had a number of successes helping clients increase lean body mass, looking to lose body fat, people needing help with rehabilitation of injuries or condition management who are just looking to get back to normal life. Strength training is the foundation in which I base all my clients training around. It is the basis of any training goal, allowing you to build more muscle, decrease body fat, run faster or jump higher. Through self-education and application I have found the best and quickest way to achieve a range of fitness goals, I endeavour to provide the best structure and support needed to help you achieve yours.
